Welcome to 1st West Waverley Scout Group's webpage. Here you will find out a little
about what is going in our Group. What you see here is only the tip of the iceberg as 1st
West is a very active Group providing quality scouting to boys, girls, and young men and
women from 6 to 26.
As Scouting, its a centenary year, we strongly believe that young people have as much to gain
today in being a joey, cub, scout, venturer or rover as ever.
We are proud of our 43 year history during which time hundreds of families have passed
though our Mt. Waverley Hall. We offer a great brand of Scouting led by a team of dedicated
leaders and supported by many parents who actively participate in the development of their
children.
As we like to say, "1st West is Best" and we invite you to join us. Hall address is 1st
Scout Hall near end of Fairway Avenue, Mt Waverley, Melway Map 70 E5..
Section Schedule
* Joeys Currently being held with Cubs
6 to 7.5 years old
* Cubs Tuesday Nights 7 - 8.30pm
8 to 10.5 years old
* Scouts Thursday Nights 7.30 - 9.30pm
11 to 14.5 years old
* Venturers Friday Nights 7.30pm - 10pm
15 to 17.5 years old
* Tarlow Rovers
Friday Nights 8 - 11pm(or even later)
18 to 25.5 years old
